How EVDost works

EVDost connects drivers who need a charge with people who have a charger to share. Here's what to expect on each side.

For drivers

  1. Find and compare

See chargers near you on the map. Sort by nearest or cheapest, and see what a charge would cost for the car you're driving, for example "Rs 270 for about 40 km, 1.2 km away".

  2. Ask to charge

Send a request to a charger that's open now. The host accepts, and you get the exact address and directions.

  3. Plug in

Tap Start when you plug in. Either of you can tap Stop. Time is counted by our server, so you both see the same timer.

  4. Pay and review

Pay the host for the time you used, in 10-minute blocks, by Raast, JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer. Then leave a quick review to help the next driver.

What you'll need

An electric car or plug-in hybrid, a phone with a web browser, a Pakistani mobile number, and a bank or mobile wallet account to pay the host.

For hosts

  1. Tell us about your charger

Share where it is, what kind of charger it is, the hours you're happy to share it, and your hourly price.

  2. Get verified

A quick identity check, usually with your CNIC, and a photo of your charger. You don't need any licence or training to join EVDost.

  3. Accept requests

Drivers ask to charge now or at a set time. You approve the ones that suit you and can say no to any of them.

  4. Get paid

Drivers pay you directly after each charge, to the Raast ID, JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank account you add. For now, EVDost takes no commission.
